Why this site exists
A person who searches for a trademark symbol usually wants one of two things: the character immediately, or a dependable way to type it again. Most pages solve only the first half. This site puts the copy action first and keeps the explanation close behind it.
The scope is intentionally narrow. We cover ™, ®, ©, and ℠; their Unicode and web codes; the input methods available on major devices; and the distinctions that prevent common mix-ups.
How the information is prepared
Technical values are checked against Unicode. Device instructions favor first-party Apple, Microsoft, Google, and platform documentation. U.S.-oriented trademark and copyright explanations refer to the USPTO and U.S. Copyright Office.
Operating systems, keyboards, and laws change. We state important limitations—such as keyboard-layout differences and territorial registration—rather than turning one device or jurisdiction into a universal rule.
What this site is not
TM Copy Paste does not decide whether a mark is available, registered, owned, infringed, or enforceable. For a filing, launch, dispute, license, or jurisdiction-specific question, consult a qualified professional.
