Scope and effective date
This policy applies to www.tmcopypaste.org and is effective August 28, 2026. It describes the site as currently designed: a static information and browser-based copy tool without user accounts, payments, or a server-side symbol library.
Clipboard actions
When you press a copy button, the site asks your browser to write the selected public symbol to your clipboard. The site does not read the existing contents of your clipboard and does not send clipboard contents to our servers.
If Google Analytics is enabled, the site may send an event recording the symbol category, whether the copy attempt succeeded, and the page path. It does not send text that you previously copied or anything you later paste.
Optional analytics
Google Analytics 4
When a Google Analytics measurement ID is configured at build time, the site loads the Google tag. Google Analytics may use cookies and similar technologies to distinguish browsers and sessions and may process page views, engagement, device information, approximate location, and the limited custom events described above.
Cloudflare Web Analytics
When a Cloudflare Web Analytics token is configured at build time, the site loads Cloudflare’s performance beacon. It is used to understand page views, traffic, and real-world page performance.
Microsoft Clarity
When a Microsoft Clarity project ID is configured at build time, the site loads Clarity to understand aggregate interaction patterns such as clicks, scrolling, and navigation. Clarity may collect device, browser, approximate location, and session interaction information.
If the relevant environment variable is not configured, the matching analytics script is omitted from the generated page. The services are configured independently.
If you email hello@tmcopypaste.org, we receive the address, message, and other information you choose to include. Do not send confidential documents, credentials, or sensitive personal information. Messages may be retained as reasonably needed to respond, correct the site, prevent abuse, or meet legal obligations.
External links and choices
The site links to first-party references such as Unicode, Apple, Microsoft, Google, the USPTO, and the U.S. Copyright Office. Their privacy practices apply after you leave this site.
You can use browser controls, content blockers, or private browsing features to limit analytics technology. Google also provides controls and browser tools for its analytics services.
Changes and contact
This policy will be updated when the site’s data practices materially change. Questions or correction requests can be sent to hello@tmcopypaste.org.
