Your wording, with consistent spacing
Each separator has one ordinary space on either side. The tool trims only the edges of each input line and keeps internal punctuation, repeated spaces, emoji, and duplicate items. It does not shorten labels or guess where an item should end.
The output contains no HTML or added line breaks. Your destination can still wrap a long line to fit its width. For a vertical list, use the bullet point generator instead.
Frequently asked questions
How does the symbol text generator combine items?
It treats each non-empty line as one item, trims spaces at the start and end, and joins items with your chosen symbol. One ordinary space is added on each side of the separator. The copied result has no added leading separator, trailing separator, or final line break.
Can I create a bio, footer, or text workflow?
Yes. Use a dot or vertical bar between short labels, or an arrow between workflow steps. The output is plain text. It does not create clickable links, an email signature layout, or a graphical flowchart.
Is a middle dot the same as a bullet?
No. The middle dot · is U+00B7, while the bullet • is U+2022. The generator copies the exact selected character. They can appear similar in some fonts but remain different characters.
What happens to punctuation inside an item?
It stays in your text. The tool does not split an existing line at dots, arrows, commas, or vertical bars. To make separate items, put each one on its own line. A single item is copied with no added separator.
Are my items saved?
No. Your items and generated text stay in the current browser tab. They are not saved in browser storage or sent to our servers. Custom analytics record the tool name and copy outcome without your text.
